Mechanical engineering is not only about learning theories, formulas, and design principles. The real challenge is applying that knowledge to practical engineering problems.

Topics such as CAD modelling, FEA, material selection, manufacturing processes, hydraulic systems, and machine design become much more meaningful when we understand how they are applied in real projects.

I believe academic institutions and industries should work more closely together to give students practical exposure through internships, industrial projects, workshops, and research collaboration.

What engineering skill do you think students should learn more before entering the industry?
