Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Third Officer to join our modern container vessel fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for maritime professionals looking to advance their career with a global leader in shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watches and maintain proper lookout
- Assist in cargo operations and vessel stability management
- Maintain bridge equipment and navigation instruments
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code
- Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
- Maintain accurate deck log and navigation records

Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid STCW Certificate of Competency as OOW (Officer of the Watch)
- Valid STCW endorsement and seafarer's book
- Diploma or degree in Nautical Science from recognized maritime institute
- Minimum 6 months sea service as Deck Cadet or Junior Officer
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- ECDIS, ARPA, GMDSS certifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience on container vessels or large cargo ships
- Good knowledge of cargo handling and stability
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work in multicultural teams
- Computer literacy and familiarity with maritime software
- Physical fitness and adaptability to sea life
