Role Description
We are recruiting Fourth Engineers for our modern bulk carrier fleet. This position offers excellent growth prospects in a professional maritime environment.
Main Duties:
- Assist Chief Engineer in engine room operations
- Maintain and operate main and auxiliary machinery
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs
- Monitor fuel consumption and engine performance
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Participate in planned maintenance system (PMS)
- Maintain engine room logs and records

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- STCW III/1 Certificate of Competency (Fourth Engineer level)
- Valid STCW endorsement and CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate)
- Marine Engineering degree/diploma from approved institution
- Minimum 6-12 months sea service as Engine Cadet
- Medical fitness certificate (PEME)
- Advanced firefighting and other STCW basic safety training
Desired Competencies:
- Experience with MAN B&W or Wartsila main engines
- Knowledge of planned maintenance systems
- Understanding of ISM and ISO procedures
- Electrical and automation systems knowledge
- Team player with positive attitude
- Willingness to work in challenging conditions
