Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Marine Superintendent to oversee technical operations of our container fleet. This shore-based role offers excellent work-life balance and career progression.

Responsibilities Include:

Technical management of assigned fleet of container vessels
Ensure vessels comply with class, flag, and international regulations
Coordinate dry-docking and major repairs
Review and approve vessel maintenance budgets
Conduct vessel inspections and audits
Provide technical support to ship staff
Manage relationships with classification societies and flag states
Optimize vessel performance and fuel efficiency

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

Chief Engineer or Master Mariner qualification (COC Class 1)
Minimum 8 years sea-going experience
At least 2 years experience in ship management or technical superintendent role
Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, MLC 2006
Excellent project management skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with container vessels (10,000+ TEU preferred)
Knowledge of German language (advantage)
MBA or technical management qualification
Experience with environmental compliance (EU MRV, IMO DCS)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
